Features and Benefits:
- zOPERATOR provides scrollable and searchable consoles for both z/VM and Linux systems.
- zOPERATOR is customizable. Messages can be color-coded, highlighted, held and suppressed to ensure important messages are clearly seen.
- zOPERATOR can be automated to perform certain functions based on particular messages and interfaces with zALERT.
- zOPERATOR can be used to send messages, emails logging files or EXEC and or SNMP traps.
- zOPERATOR can be configured to keep a specific amount of console logs that are viewable via zVIEW (or on z/VM).
- zOPERATOR can be configured to have hypertext links to zVIEW screens for resources that have alerts defined. This allows for an operator to see an alert, hit a button and view the resource (and the issue).
